Rob Fulford is initially from Swansea in South Wales and is 21 years old. Rob is currently in his last year of University at Reading studying for a degree in History with the intention of taking a year out to travel and explore potential careers. During this time, Rob will also focus more exclusively on training for the current season and distant 2009 pedalcar events.
Rob has been in the sport since 2001 after joining local team Killay. After three seasons, Rob then decided to go solo for various races in 2004 with a best finish of 2nd place. In 2005, BAR offered Rob a guest drive in Blackbushe in 2005 which was ultimately a success and has been a member of BAR Racing ever since.
In 2007, Rob raced in a one off round in the solo category at the European Championships, claiming first place and thus a solo race win for BAR Racing. Rob hopes that BAR racing can become a more prominent force in 2008 and beyond with big hopes for the Ringwood race in particular.
